Our Story

Christina Smallwood is wife to Josh & they’ve been married since June 2011. Together they have 3 children & they grew their family via adoption after receiving an infertility diagnosis. William & Samantha are 5 year old twins & her oldest daughter, Finley has Cerebral Palsy and requires around the clock physical assistance. Christina is a super busy career mama who has a true passion for comfy fashion. She’s been a supporter of small shops since day 1 of motherhood, but never thought she’d start a shop of her own - being a hairstylist by trade.

When Finley was 3 years old the Smallwoods fundraised for Finley to have a life changing surgery and thousands of dollars were donated in a short amount of time! Majority of the donations were $1-$5. This moved Christina to her core & she knew one day she wanted to repay the favor & pay it forward. It was in this moment she realized what can happen when a lot of people come together & do something “small” for “good.”

She was shopping at Melrose in the OC, her favorite local store and met the owner, Kristina Waisner Sitzmann, they developed a friendship over many life commonalities. One day they got to talking about Christina’s dreams to give back with her passion for comfy clothes. Kristina was all about this mission &  as an established brand builder / production creator she got the ball rolling.

Christina & Josh have been looking for a way to plant their roots in San Clemente, and no better way than to start a company that can make an impact for the incredible citizens.

Hence, Small Good Co was born.
